That is SWEET! You know...with a little Old English furniture polish, that could be a fine piece of furniture!!! Man...I think the color matches my kitchen cabinets....that would look great in my kitchen!!!

LOL I am going to refinish it entire, it has one area of slight exterior water damage, so I'll be returning it all to the original very dark redwood.

I love it. And I love working with wood, so I'm all jazzed.

ETA to add that I'll be using all water based low VOC products for finishing and cleaning so it should also be a safer thing as well. With the more modern water based urethanes I can also finish the interior trays - yay.

Yes, looks like the one I picked up last Fall. Now I know so much more info about it, Hubby and I can't wait to start to restore ours!

Believe ours is the smaller one (holds aprox. 400 eggs).

Once you've restored yours post pics!

I'm going to test run it toward the end of the month with a new thermostat and see how it goes and if there's anything else I want to tweak before stripping and restaining.

LOL but I need more probe thermometers to cross check the different shelves chuckle.

Okay so now I am drooling. What an awesome find. When you get tired of it and want to sell, let me know.

LOL I'll send you the wine cooler bator ... It's tiny but kinda cool

and is a great hospital brooder.

Darthbator is staying I've put wayyyy too much work into the sucker and still have upgrades in mind. Never really finished with a homemade. And he fits next to the computer - which GOLIATH does NOT.

Goliath practically needs a room of his own. But I'm running him on the porch til he's set up and running and stained.

(Never mind the spider eggs and stuff I knocked off to get even decent pics of him.) UGHHH

That is just beautiful..... It looks like the antique ice chest I've got here in my kitchen.
