i have 12, 19 week old pullets 6 cinnamon queens ( aka sex links) and 3 golden laced wyandottes, 2 buff orps, 1 delaware , the 6 sex links are looking like there getting close to start laying. what should i do when they start laying put them in with the 1 yr old flock . because the buff orps and wyandottes arent showing much of wattles and combs quite yet. or can i just put them all on layer mash. according to the grain bag i use 20 weeks and over says to switch to layer mash.
