I have an adult rooster (His name is Usta) and an adult hen (Her name is Red). She sat on 10 eggs this spring, 6 of them hatched. There are 2 roosters and 4 hens. One of the hens is white with brown. Very adorable!!! Very Beautiful!!

I have to find them a new home, someone who CARES for them and will NOT roast them!!!

I am unhappy that I have to let them go, sad story behind it.

I got a pair of bantam Cubalayas this spring and have found them to be absolutely great lil bantams. Sorry you have to get rid of yours. I'd be interested in adding them to the flock if you'd be able to ship.

Do you have photos of them?

I might have took them in as well, but you aren't shipping. I have the standard size cubalaya and I love them, they're my favorite.

Did you try listing them on Craigslist or Petfinder?
 
These little ones are great, I would never place them, but under the circumstances I have no choice. It is very upsetting but I think there is someone out there that will love them as much as I do. I will try to post photos later.

Are you near Tilton or Deerfield? There are swaps at both locations this weekend. There's a set up fee for Deerfield though.

Then starting in September there are more in Merrimack, Milford and a few others.

Newton is in SE NH near the Mass. line (Amesbury) and not far off Rte. 125 (which goes through Mass. and NH). Not far from Plaistow.

MeeMee, how much do you want for the 6 lil cuties?

Hi, there are 8 of them, 2 adults 6 chicks...that are getting BIG by the day!!! I do not know what to ask for them, what be a fair price?
 
I don't know, I guess it depends on recouping your costs for feed and care, plus a bit more as a reward to yourself for having graced the world with Cubalayas.

Beyond that, what the buyer is willing to pay and consider a fair price.

Overall, I've seen the average cost of a breeding adult pair 2 years old or younger at around $20. Separately, a breeding adult hen under 2 years old $15, same-age roo $8-10. Sometimes people will throw in the roo for free to get rid of the roo, so you're paying really for the hen (there's a guy in the poultry circles here in Mass. who calls that a "hen premium" ... you can only buy a hen if you take a roo with her!).

For chicks, new-hatches can go for $.50-$2.00 but as they get older they can go for $5.00 due to the cost of feeding and raising them.

Just my 2 cents' worth.

If someone wants all 8 (3 males, 5 females), they may offer you something like $25-$30 for the lot.
