Day #24 in incubator, 2 eggs still no pipping. Give up?

I bought 8 chicken eggs to hatch and received via mail. Six fertile and 4 hatched on day #21. The 2 remaining eggs, which look distinctly different(different hen?) have not hatched.

Should I give up? What is the longest incubation you've experienced?

Thank you.

smell them, if stink throw them away, if not proceed with candling test.

if you see movement on candling give them 2 days more if not throw them away.

that's all i know. smile

candle the eggs and watch for any movement and listen for any tapping or scratching or chirping if nothing they may be dead. If they are chicken eggs and it is day 25 or later they will most likely not hatch, if they are maybe duck eggs these take longer, I think 28 days is normal. and like mulia says if they stink throw them far far away.. sad

You have to candle them. I never let mine go past Day 22. It rarely turns out well.
