Merry Christmas to me!!!

I got my Christmas bonus today - My boss (our office manager) told me last year when I got one that they may increase every year for a job well done - well, it TRIPLED!!!

I felt like a complete fool when I started crying and hugged her - I've never worked at a job where they tell you, and show you how much you are appreciated. The owner of the company is such a great person - I can't believe I ever questioned quitting my old job.

Thats great!! Merry Christmas!! Now, put it to good use....order more chickies!!

That's great. I work for the state of NC and we had to PAY $5 for our Christmas lunch yesterday.

Well, with that bonus - I would need a LOT bigger coop! Actually, that's what I plan on doing with it. I want a BIG coop - maybe with running water!!

I work for a family that owns retail stores - four in Texas and one - soon to be two in Louisiana. We sell home decor, giftware - each store has a greenhouse and we have seasonal plants, tropicals, perennials, trees, shrubs - any plant you can thing of - I love springtime at the store! (we get great discounts)

Each store has a ribbon shop, two of our stores have a custom frame shop(beautiful framing) Each store has floral designers on staff, we have an awesome candle shop. My favorite is Circle E. Each store has a boutique - clothing and accessories.

I work at the corporate office/warehouse - I started out at the store four years ago as a cashier at night while working my day job that I quit. I do a little of everything - from advertising to AP to answering the phone to getting our website up. Right now we have started a new inventory program and I'm working with the guy that's writing it.
