Can you eat pheasant eggs?

Is it ok to eat pheasant eggs? My mother wouldn't eat them and she said they were poisionus.

Don't want to get between you and your mother, but yes, you can eat the eggs.  They're a good size for pickling also.

They taste just like chicken.... eggs.

NO!!! There's no such thing as a poisonous poultry egg. They are fine to eat, just take 20 of them to get an omelet!

Pheasant eggs are delicious! Bantam egg size, so cook up a big ole mess!

I'm not really Royalty,....... just a Royal pain in the...... hey, I see a chicken!

so long as they aren't on medicated feed... only eggs i'v encountered that i wouldn't eat are dove/pigeon eggs, those are nasty...

Yep  sure can.    Pheasant,quail,Partridge,turkey,peafowl, and chicken all taste about the same.  I have eaten all these, dont like the waterfowl eggs.

Like in the other post, becareful eaten eggs from medicated birds , even ones that have been wormed. Check withdraw time of all meds.

Pheasant eggs are my fav, followed by quail.
