Just wanted to share some pics of my coop and girls/guys/babies. I also officially put the cochin and two naked necks out with them today. I'm gonna miss them in the garage

We spent a lot of time with the chickens today too! It was nice here after several days of first rain, then really cold days.

I spent the day with mine yesterday. My BO follows me around wherever I go. If I look down, she does the squat.
It is certainly alot of fun, and soooo relaxing.
 
Ashley are silkies good egg layers or are they just eye candy. I've never owned any and was curious as to the egg production aspects of having some..... Laura
 
LOL eye candy. Mind you, I only have three that are laying age and they have hatched out 17 babies since August between the three of them... but, when they're not busy being broody and get back to their normal "cycle", yes, they are consistent layers!
