I gave you some false information. You had asked about chicken swaps. All the places I mentioned except Mary's are auctions. My bad.  Monty

I have not been to marys in a few years.I might check it out.

Sorry, I haven't been on here in a while. I only have chickens. I have Andalusians, Gold and Silver Campines, Cuckoo Marans, Welsummers, and few of several other breeds.
Therei s a man in Luther that raises ans sells lots of Guineas. I don't know his name but he advertises in the Oklahoman. I'll see if I can find the ad and his number. You might try Mary's Swap Meet in Midwest City, they usually have some there. They are proud of them though.
Is the Italian restaraunt still open in Jones?  It has been a while since have been there. It used to be very good.
  Good talking to you.

Are any other Okies having trouble with sick chickens with all of the rain we have had?  I have only lost a few but I have had to treat with meds. I hope all of  your birds are high and dry. Monty

No problems here with sick birds. I lost my 2 banty hens to my neighbors dogs tho. Had to move the coop up off the creek 3 times because of high water. I do think they are tired of the mud. Its hard to dust bath in the mud. Sorry about losing your birds.

Hi Buckguy........no problems here with my chickens being sick yet, thank goodness.........just hens trying desperately to find a dry laying spot.since they choose not to lay in coop  boxes...........found an old fake christmas tree in my shed and there ya go.at least I know where the eggs are ! What kind of sickness do they have?
