How do you pronounce: D'Uccle?

I agree with the Do-Cluh, but most folks say Do-Clay or just call them Millies. My cousin calls them Millie furr's ( Mille Fleur)

I almost think that part of this pronunciation is where you are from. As Harry Connick Jr, said, "...you say potatoe, I say potata..." When talking amongst other chicken lovers, we know what you mean.

When talking about French names, a 'd' with a accent mark means 'from'. Which would make Uccle the town/village where they came from.

Uccle (French, pronounced [ˈykɫ]) or Ukkel (Dutch, pronounced [ˈʏkəl] (listen)) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. Uccle is known for its well-to-do areas, its green spots and its high rental rates.
