Sliding Dropping Board.

I had in mind what you thought of .. and then I realized how much work that would be. My coop design has two doors that open up wide so that I can just grab my poop board, scrape it off, and go.
Two questions:
How far below the roost does the poop board have to be?
How far away from the wall does the roost need to be?

Thanks sooo much
Adrienne

Here are my dropping trays. They slide out via the doors on the end of the coop. I put a few handfuls of old litter, as someone else once suggested, to keep the poop from sticking too much. I empty them about once a week. They work great.

Hey guys....

For those that use the deep litter system,....how to you keep the litter inside the coop? More specifically,....how do you keep it from coming out the pop door or human door?

And secondly,...for those that use the litter tray, do any of you have pics of your litter tray exit door thingy,....? I assume that this tray door needs to be incorporated into your frame design
BEFORE you set the wall up, right?

just brainstormin'...
