As some of you may know, I don't have chickens, yet, but am currently dealing with a neighbor who isn't thrilled about the idea. He sent out a "love letter" to all the neighbors around me about legal hoops I'd have to go through to get this passed (actually, I found, in talking with the authorities, he is definitely misinformed).
Found this article yesterday and included it in my "rebuttal" that I circulated in the same manner he did, to all of my neighbors. I thought it was a friendly little article that wasn't too detailed, and did a great job educating people on backyard chickens.
