I have a nephew who owns red sex-links and they lay huge brown eggs. He has 10 and gets 10 almost every day.. If egg production is what I was looking for I would own these.
A hen is said to lay an egg every 26hours or so--say one egg a day but most will lay for several days and then take a day off..
