Very beautiful birds. Don´t want to bring in negative vibes, but I´m not sure the roo looks like sfh to me, especially looking at the barring on his saddle feathers and neck. Are you sure he was sold to you as a sfh? I may be wrong- would be interested to know if anyone else has an opinion. The girl definitely looks like sfh, though.

I thought the same when I saw the barring because I've never seen that on any pure SFHs... But I'm not knowledgable enough (YET) to say for sure. He sure is handsome, regardless.

I was curious about my Roo so I emailed GFF with his photo. They said he was just like all of their other SFH roosters witn some barring appearing in heck feathers and tail. So it must just be different lines, but definately pure. Thanks everyone.

Swedish Flower Hens are not barred. I do not have a very high opinion of GFF's breeding integrity.

I've never dealt directly with GFF, but seeing their response to the bird and knowing that all I've ever heard in regards to barring in SFH is a big fat NO... That's disheartening.
