We have finally hatched out our first Swedish Flower Hen chicks and would like to invite you to see our new blog.  We'll be tracking their development daily for the next two months through photographs and anecdotes.  Here is day one. http://greenfirefarms.com/2010/11/three-flower-hens/

My mom has been stalking your greenfire farms swedish flower hens page...  That's a first for her!  She's never been so interested in chickens! lol

I have to admit though, they are an amazing breed!

Beautiful birds and of course, adorable chicks!  How on Earth did you get that one to stay on it's back for the photo?

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.
