Yikes!!! I guess I had better start paying attention to my four girls to see where they run off to while out free ranging.
Do they do the samething as chickens do? Just all of a sudden disappear, then reappear weeks later with babies?
And if I do find out where they are laying can I relocate them and their eggs into their coop without them abandoning the eggs? We do have problems with some predators at night. I would be more comfortable having them in the coop, but boy do they get mad if they dont get to run a round during the day.
I have a Blue Slate, Royal Palm and two Bourbon Red hens and a Blue Slate tom.
