New chicken pen out of pallets

Thanks... I have a new idea to build on to the coop/run...lol.. I have like many... More chickens than I was planning on.. So now I have to have more nesting boxes and more sleeping room.. I think I will take the back of the chicken run and incorporate a big roosting area. As I live in the south and there is no need for the big insulated house. It will be made of yep you guessed it..pallets...lol...so basically I will enclose 1 pallet long and 3 pallets across and put a roof on it. Leaving enough room for me to walk in on one side...to clean or take up eggs....I will fill in the gapps with pallet wood around the perimeter of the new roost.. Leaving only the windows open I made from chicken mesh..so basically I will have an area of 5ftx15ft at 7 ft high..With just bare ground as the floor. I can just clean it with a rake a couple times a week and de. . And lots of roost spots inside with some hen boxes for the eggs.. . That should roost my 18 chickens during the night... I will post pics when I'm done....
Im thinking all I will need is a few 2x4s, screws, some sort of roofing material. Probably just tin or something like that,and maybe 1 4x8 and a bunch of pallets...​
