Not completely lost! There is at least one left. Maiden rock hen on the left, with a Old English bantam rooster.
 
Nathan and Ryan- I just ran into a woman I sold a Madien Rock hen to a few years back. She still has her and said she's still laying. Please message me if you are interested in getting in touch with her.
 
I just discovered the breed. Splendid bird, and so very rare. I'd have loved to have some. This thread was the first I've read. I wonder if any still exist?
