That's really too bad you can't seem to find them. Seems like I've seen Watermaal pictures from breeders in Australia. Where all have you looked? Did you contact the Belgian Bantam Club? I get to visit my flock I left behind in WA in about a week to see how some of my youngsters that I posted earlier on here have matured. I'm pretty excited.

Hi Kristin,

I've got a Quail Watermaal roo, and three Quail, one Blue Quail hens. Looking forward to hatching as much as possible this year.

Looking forward to networking with other breeders, joining a breed club, and learning how to mitigate the effects I'll have from staying with such a small gene pool.
 
This was the original logo I made for the Watermaal club of America. Notice the name actually reflects the overseas name of the bird. Watermaal is the spelling in the ABA. At any rate, this logo gives a good example of the Watermaal type in one person's interpretation of the standard:
