These are my favorite.... they love attention, always follow me since babies. and when i'm outside with them they just want to be right next to me. My Thelma & Louise. Hoping there pullets.
Here are my production reds at 1 month and two weeks. Today I took my babies that are almost one month old outside in the coop in a dog crate, and one of my reds, attacked the baby threw the cage. baby is alright but im not ready to go threw that again, so the babies will stay inside till there old enough to protect themselves. I also still believe there hens...
My production reds were sold to me as rhode island reds too, until I learned the difference, I haven't ate one yet but the egg production is amazing, I'm guaranteed one large brown egg everyday! I'm still confused on whether they are mixed with new hampshire or leg horns and how to tell the difference. Most of mine have red eyes but my 3 month old pullets have blue eyes. Some of my chickens have yellow legs and other ones have creamier colored legs. Either way I love my flock and if I ever get into selling them I will sell them as production reds not rhode island's!
