Is there a breed of duck that lays a green or blue egg?

Working hard in Canada with Bearded Silkies (White, Blue/Splash, Porcelain), B/B/S Ameraucanas,  and Black/Blue Copper Marans

My chocolate and blue Runners lay a greeny bluey egg

Mum to 5 Dogs, 2 Cats, 4 Mini Horses, 1 Mule, 1 QH, 5 Goats, 1 Goldfish. I have short fat white ducks and tall skinny coloured ducks, and a few geese And eggs in the bator.

THe bluish greenish ones are from my chocolate and blue, but not blue runners

lau  I get what you mean, but others might not if they dont know the blue duck thing  heheheh:lol:

Love that basket! Where did you find it?

Ten Cayuga ducks (4 hens, 2 keeper drakes, 4 soon to rehome to a bachelor pond) and 4 newly hatched ducklings, 40 eggs in the duck house waiting for a broody hen, two red merle Miniature Aussies, one black mutt cat, one insane(ly adorable) Devon Rex, and the most imperfectly perfect man I've ever met

I had one mallard lay white eggs, and another lay blue the same summer.  Could tell which one laid which.

My Mallards lay a definite green egg, almost bluey green. My Rouen also lays a green egg, but it is more grey/green.

3 Mallards, 2 Rouens (1 drake),  Jumbo Pekin, Welsh Harlequin, 8 hens - RIRs, Gold-laced Wyandotte, Buff Orpington, Silver-Laced Wyandotte, Buff Brahma, Welsummer, 2 Roo's - Delaware, Speckled Sussex, 1 lovable old dog, 2 geckos, 2 snakes, 2 goldfish, 1 male Beta

Thank you for the responses. I know NOTHING about ducks. I'm a chicken girl myself which the owner of my local feed store knows. Knowing that I have chickens that lay green/blue eggs (which is still something of an oddity here in Canada apparently), he mentioned that he had a lady in looking for ducks that laid green eggs. His duck supplier said "no such thing". So I told him I'd check with the folks on here. I'll make sure to pass the information on to her and him. cool

I just made a page on Swedish ducks and from the information that I researched it said they lay mostly white but may also lay a blue or gray tinted egg.
