Thank goodness, I just found this thread today and was reading and reading to catch up. What a nightmare! I can't imagine. Oh goodness what they would think at my house. I'm sure it's good to find some humor in it, it helps to deal with it all, but I find the whole thing really terrifying. There needs to be better oversight of entities with this sort of power. Not a week goes by you don't read some terrible news story about a crime or a child neglect/abuse case that could have easily been prevented. Then you read something like this and you just have to wonder, well gee if they weren't harrassing innocent people over ridiculous ignorant claims...

I'm so glad they apologized. Definately get and keep that letter!

I'm glad to hear this is over, but I am so sorry you had to deal with this. I have to say, you dealt with it a LOT better than I ever would have. I would have been a nervous wreck at best.

Downright scary, and I would have thought in a rural place like Idaho, they'd be pretty tolerant of chickens. Good grief.

This world has gone plumb crazy, there's no other way to explain it...
