Photo blog on how to process :)

Thanks for the kind comments! For ease of reference, I decided to also copy the blog to the Learning Center here. The link is now in my signature, and will still live at my normal blog, along with here. It's fun too - I'm amazed at the number of times it's been viewed and the comments from many, many places that use it. Glad that it's useful!!

that was so informative! & great step by step photos. hopefully you will be just the inspiration i need. i seriously had no idea that having chickens (for only 5 mos.)would be such a spiritual experience!! but it truly is. i thought keeping chickens would make me soft (like, 'pet people soft') but instead it has put a lot more perspective into a lot of things... meat birds is at the top of my list. so thank you :) and i look forward to reading more of your blog! (i subscribed) i still don't know about the culling though ;p strange, i think i'd rather kill than cull.

Thank you so much for this! Didn't plan on butchering any of our ducks or goose (eggs is why we have them) until one got hit on the road this morning. We were sad but didn't want to waste it either. Came right to BYC to find what to do (for my husband...I'm in charge of explaining it to the kids, he's in charge of processing

I have lots of egg purpose cockerels such as Rhode Island Reds etc, will they still have some meat on them?
