Jim,
I will see what I can do about finding some of the old information I have on them and I had some no old B/W pictures of them and the parent stock.

Here are some old B/W pictures of the fowl used in the breed of the Lamona. I will post more as I find it.

In the first year of breeding a White Rock Rooster was crossed over a Silver Gray Dorking then in the second year of breeding Leghorn blood was added too the breeding program.

I have watched for these (Lamonas) for a number of years and would be willing to help breed up numbers to help get them going again.I thought Marion Nash and Lonnie would get them going,I often wonder what happened to this venture. I sent Barry at feather site, several old Schilling cuts from the 1940's,that appeared at the time and printed in Poultry Press.

Well, I have paid for the hatching eggs. So I marked I have them. Though they do want to remain confidential, I will definetly share any hatching eggs we egt from the flock that hatches.

Thanks Chris and Dan.

I will be on/off BYC. If we owe you hatching eggs, please forward us the listing information. We are almost caught up on them and do not wish to miss anyone. Geese are now laying!

No, but I trust my source. Will take lots of photos of the eggs, the chicks and as they grow.
