Your choices for docile bantam breeds??

Rhode Island Red - am checking into them myself for next year. I'm wanting good egg layers in smaller size, not just cute.

After having LF EEs and Ameraucanas, I want both of those in bantam size as well.

What the heck is RIR? I have seen that a bazillions of times but what is it?
RIR is an acronym for Rhode Island Red, an American large breed of chicken originating from Rhode Island and Massachusetts. It's a dual-purpose bird; can be raised for both their eggs/meat.

I just love bantams, they have always been my favorite. My tamer, friendliest ones are in order:
Silkie's
Cochins
Frizzle cochin
Brahmas
Delaware rooster who is so friendly
D'uccle's hens

Medium friendlies:
d'uccle's roosters
Easter egg bantams
Dutch
More flighty wild ones:
My several kinds of old English games
My cross of a mille fleur d'uccle/sebright
Gold sebright
Our silver sebrights are calmer than the golds.
The worst wilds I have are 7 black japanese I hatched myself, they refuse to be tamed!
The worst bird I have right now is a gold sebright rooster, he has to make me some Jr's then I'm getting rid of him, he attacks me viscously and is getting worse no matter how I throttle him!
I just love bantams so much, they are so cute, and require less space.
You are going to love yours, watch out they are super addictive!
Yup, Bantams are my favorite's :)
(Of course I have quite a few large breeds I love too)
