My 2 Runner ducklings are 12 weeks old.
What is a good way to offer pelleted feed?
is there a duck feeder that limits waste?
I put their pellets in a dish and they waste so much,
wetting it and walking through it.
I also feed all kinds of garden scraps and they free-range daily.
Thanks.

I have a 50lb bin feeder that hangs on the wall just low enough for them to get their heads in. I fill it with food and don't worry about it for a week or so. I throw all my fruits and veggies into the food processor so that it is more managable and there is less waste. A lot of times I will feed them that out in the yard, and throw some into water. They love "fishing" it out.

I found they wasted less feed with a large rubber bowl (horse type) on the ground. But, the wetness created mold, so I went back to the 40lb hanging feeder. What they do waste, the chickens scratch up when I open the coops.
