Golden Cuckoo Maran male or female

My new hens, is the Maran male or female as I need to know ASAP. Live in the countryside but concerned that if it is a male and starts crowing that the neighbours will complain.  These are my daughters pets. Thanks.

The larger one on the left definately looks like a rooster to me.

Agree! Big one rooster, little one hen

I currently have five chickens, a bantam partridge wyandotte, buckeye, Goldlaced wyandotte, Delaware, and a buff orpington cross. My banty recently hatched 3 chicks a whos moms were a rsl, bo, and a aruacana and all share the same father a cuckoo maran. And 26 broiler chicks.

the one to the left is your cockerel the one on the right is a pullet

i am currently looking for sultans for my parents they keep asking me if i have seen for sale (birds or eggs) if you have any please pm me thanks.

i am looking for more d'uccles please pm me if you have any available (eggs only unless you live close to me), how much for a dozen, what colors you have, and if possable please send some pics of some of your breeders thank you

I dont think those are pure marans, both have a small crest.

op is asking the gender of the marans cockerel not the pullet. the cockerel doesnt have a creast and indead looks pure but the pullet to the right is a mix

I also agree. To the left is a cockerel and to the right is a pullet. One of my own, Hercules, looks the same.

A Rottweiler (Roxy), a Labrador retriever (Gypsy), 2 breeding turkeys (Rosco & Vanilla), 2 goats (Charlotte & Oreo), a horse (Maui), her colt (Tex), half a dozen ducks, and a yard full of chickens...
