A neighboring farm has/had 3 Peacocks. She had them for a couple of months in her chicken pen then let them loose on her property. She has 2 German Shepherds that are famous for killing her ducks.
WELL, there's a Peacock in my woods. A young male. I feed him and gave him water because he was panting really hard. Then after about an hour of standing in the woods getting eaten by bugs I cornered him and he went NUTS. He was so big I couldn't get a good grip on him and he got away...honking at me as he took off.
Now I live in an area full of morons. This past fall (or was it winter??) a dumb@$$ shot at a deer that was in my front yard...towards my house! I'm afraid someone will see him and kill him for food. I've never heard of eating a Peacock. Do people eat them? If so he's a goner.
Heck folks around here would kill him for fun. Hopefully he stays on my property.
Edited to fix the title. Go was supposed to be "Do"
