This thread is for the discussion of the Gold Laced Orpington project only.
Posting of photos for comparison is acceptable.
It is my understanding several are working on their own Gold laced Orpington projects. There are also some Imported English Gold laced Orpingtons now here. The goal of this thread is to breed to the American Standard, but discussion about the color pattern and breeding issues of Gold Laced anything will be helpful.
History of your breeding project will also help others.
Photo above is a Gold Laced Orpington produced by Corancher and hatched at Hall Family Poultry of Monticello, Arkansas.
Sadly, he was the only survivor of shipped eggs.
We are mating him this season to two Single Comb Gold Laced Wyandotte hens of good size and type. Here are the hens.
