Creole Dorkings????

Hi all, I am still working on this project and it is going well. I believe I now have everything in place to have my creles in the spring. I have several beautiful roosters from my crosses to decide from, they are cuckoo/barred with red leeking through, I will keep the best one and keep one for a spare, and put him with The Reds I got from Dick Horstman. I saved the 5 best hens from my crossings. They appear red, and I will put them with the red roosters I got from Dick. I should get some creles from this mating. I am trying very hard to breed to standard at the same time, so hopefully I will get some very nice birds. In fact I reduced my flock so I can concentrate on them! Hope every one has a blessed fall and winter, we shall see what spring brings!

I am collecting eggs now for my project!I have Dicks red hens with my 3rd breeding rooster, I also have some 3rd breeding cousins, I saved the closest to type roos that look cuckoo, dark breast and some red feathering. my hens present with red coloring and good type. I am cautiously excited!

How's your project coming along?
 
I have gotten very close, but after serious consideration, decided to sell all my chickens so I have more time for my family. Thanks for your interest!
