Indian Runner Ducklings Boys or girls?

You might have some issues if you have a boy and a girl, he might be too much for, I'm no expert bit think the general terms of things is 1 male to 5-8 females to help spread out the attention

Any of our more experienced members feel free to correct me,

does the male have a tail pointing down or a curling one?

The male and female both have a tail that points up. The male when he reaches maturity will have a little curl feather in front of his tail. The best way I have found to sex them is the voice. The female will be much louder and have a quackkk sound the male will have a low raspy sound. When you pick them up you can usually hear their voices. They have to be around 6 to 8 weeks old to tell. Most of the time the males are taller but not always. I hope this helps you.

hi - that helps . I have 2 , as pets , 5 weeks old . One is much bigger than the other and I've been worried it's male .. I ordered them F .. it wold be a disaster if they are M&F by the hatcheries mistake ! I don't want fertilized eggs , or a hen ravaged by the M. I hope they are just growing differently and both F . the smaller one is louder when I pick up , but the bigger one also peeps, sqwacks , does not make gutteral sounds ... I bought from Metzger and am trying not to worry about them having screwed up !
