there is something you don't address in your ad. nothing about pesticides. this is a huge concern for people who grow organic crops in their backyards, and who want their chickens to eat organic feed. it almost feels insulting that you expound on how awesome your product is, and how natural, but you completely ignore the concept of pesticides. my guess is, if you didn't use pesticides on the crops you produce for your feed, you would have mentioned that. joy

With all due respect, I think Jenn011 did (organic = pesticide-free):

Can you tell us about how much your feeds cost?

The Natural feed definition by AAFCO does not require that the ingredients be free of pesticides or organic which is why we didn't mention it in the article. We realize that many people have concerns about pesticides, gmo grains, soy, etc. which is why we offer a variety of poultry feeds. Organic is the way to go to ensure the ingredients are pesticide and gmo free. Our organic line is USDA certified 95% organic and contains many of the health ingredients that we include in the natural line. We also have a new Freedom line that is gmo and soy free. Sandy
"...they are simply made with organic ingredients that cost more."
That sentence makes me think that the company believes I am a complete moron for making a choice on how or what I feed my animals or family. Natural and organic are used incorrectly by 99% of companies in all markets because the terms are unregulated. The AAFCO merely has the definition and my college chemistry professor says heat is a chemical process so I'm not sure what they are trying to get across there. So they scoff at organic saying it is the same as another product but decided they wanted the profit so they made their own line.

I would like to how one can call a poultry feed "natural" when it contains no animal proteins, since when did chickens become herbivores/vegetarians? The last time I checked chickens were OMNIVORES and eat both plant and animal material as their primary food sources. I would think since chicken are omnivores a "natural" diet/feed would contain at least animal protein.
