Look i have swallow tail peas now
















 
Burt, I hatched 2 grand-peas this year. A lovely boy and girl, and they're going to be as stunning as their parents. I wish I could gab at you over the phone about it.

My big guy is about to turn 5 and he's just amazing...it breaks my heart that I'm in a position where they must go live elsewhere. I can't keep them safe and give them the space they need with the predation around, and they need to be freer than they are. I'm hoping for offspring down the line.

I know you see all this and would talk me through it in a pragmatic way...putting up with my blubbering. I guess I have to let that be enough.

Fall makes me think of you walking me through my first winter with peas, and it's that time of year. Miss you.
 
sorry to find this thread. I haven't been on BYC much in years.. but frequently refer to Deerman posts when searching for info. He was always willing to share his wisdom. Thank you, Deerman
