What did you do in the garden today?

Without a frame, that would blow apart here in a few days. But they're all over the city in protected backyards, as long as they're attached to a heavy base or concrete slab. It also has trouble handling a snow load, so if that's an issue.
See we will put walls and concrete floor with a proper roof ..
I have windows and a sky light window came from ours being replaced I will have in it.

The weatherman said it was going to rain yesterday... 70% chance, they said.... Liars! I ended up watering the new plants I planted yesterday. I didn't water them when I planted them because it was supposed to rain!

I also pruned that hibiscus tree and placed the pruned branches in some soil to root them. Couldn't find my root hormone... And then the lack of rain left them looking pretty sorry this morning. Not sure if they will make it but I watered everything really well today...

Otherwise I didn't do much in the garden today because I was burned out from all the work this past week. I did some light weeding in one raised bed and that's it.... I'm pooped!

you must water hibiscus regularly.

Yes, I know... The parent plant is in a very large self-watering container. I just moved it back outside late last week. The only reason why I didn't water the pruned transplants is because I thought rain was imminent. They got watered last night so let's hope that it was enough to save them. They were pretty droopy last night night.

ETA - just walked down to the garden for a few minutes. Transplants are still droopy. I went ahead and watered them again. Not sure if they will make it.

Weatherman says 80% chance of rain tomorrow.... :fl

Morning all. Busy here. Today is laundry day plus cleaning house. We got nearly an inch of rain yesterday. This morning those ole March winds started kicking up. Not steady all the time but gusting up to 55 to 60 mph occasionally. My seedlings are continuing to do well and the lilac is getting ready to burst open. The zinnia and marigold seeds are germinating already. I ordered a new weed whacker. I stuck with the electric model because it is much lighter than the gas powered and this one is adjustable for different heights. I also ordered 3 bags of the expanding garden mix for the grow bags, then scheduled my little garden mower / tractor for a tune-up at the end of next week. I finally got the registration showing the tags from my old car transferred to the new one so I can get the new one inspected and start driving it. Hoping to get the hoops and plastic up either tomorrow or Wednesday. I put a quart size mason jar over my tiny bay laurel in hopes the humidity will keep it alive. :fl And I'm very excited my little orange tree is starting to put out new leaves finally.

How big are the pills ? pill shooter or hamburger
1 pill is small like a baby aspirin size. Another one is really big but I got all but 1 of those down her. (There were only 4 of those). The other 2 weren’t real big but they were long. 1 is an over the counter Prilosec and the other one is a bit bigger and longer than that one.
The pain pills ( codine) wasn’t very big either but I think they were too strong for her. She couldn’t control her urine when she was on them. 😞
