I was responding to Percheron chicks post about getting a load of inexpensive cull lumber.
If it sent you a notification I truly don't know why.
Summer is my crazy busy season and I am in Loveland so unable to help with your flock.

So far it's not to bad. It's cold and breezy but no high winds here yet.

Yeah, that was fun... No power for about 4 days.
Fortunately, we had prepped for about 5 days of being out, with water jugs galore.
At least the roads were basically clear and the bears decided not to visit while the fence was down, LOL!

Question for those in the front range.
Anyone's trees way behind in leafing out this year? Mine seem painfully behind and have me concerned. All trees I have planted in the past 1-4 years. Stone fruit trees seem to be the worst but also maple catalpa, nut and a few ash that came with the property. Some still don't have any buds but trees are alive.

Mine are on track so far.
I have Honey Locust, Ash, Peach, Flowering Pear and a volunteer choke cherry.
Some of my 7' tall shrubs are being slow.
It was a dry (ish) winter.
I wouldn't worry to much until that first week of June.

I know that I am paying closer attention with all the $$ I've invested but it's killing me. Everyday I'm checking.
