Learning restraint!

I have a small 3 chicken coop. I live in a single story house masked by 2 2-stories. Pigeons love to be up high and avoid the area until I am gone. Any suggestions to deter this. I do live in city limits, and very frustrated. I want to kill/trap/detour, but my fiance rescues the wild. Any advice would be great.

PS I looked into falconry, but not allowed in our area, and if I want to get trained, it will take 2 years in another state to get trained.

PPS I don't want potion with the chance it will harm MY birds.

Are you saying you want to make the pigeons go away from your chicken area?

There are devices that you can get to scare the birds. One is a pair of red lights that blink and apparently look like a predator on the hunt. Hanging shiny CDs is also supposed to help.
