Pied Peafowl?????

Hi all someone told me that they had pied peafowl not a cross but just pied. Can this be true? If so does someone have a pic of pied peafowl? I have looked every were for a pic of one.

Pied is a pattern. 

 

If you breed 2 India Blue pied birds you should get Pied,Dark Pied, and White

Here is my pied male Pie with his pied hens Apple and Cherry.

Some pies have lots of white and i call them loud pieds like we do in horse talk meaning mostly one color

I have a dozen big peas running around and some babies in the brooder but i have other kinds of birds here also.

Wow it looks like you have a very nice place and VERY nice birds.

Hiccup is India Blue Pied on the left. He's about 10wks old in this photo and his pretty blue feathers are coming in.

 

But yes, look at new 2 pfowl's attached link to learn more about the genetics part of it. Also to learn more about all of the different colors/patterns there are.

Your male appears to be a India Blue Silver Pied. Am I correct or is it simply an India Blue Pied?
