That all looks great! I'm so jealous! The only thing even germinating in my garden is the beans, and a bunch of unwanted ground cover. I don't dare pull that in case there is a little wanted plant in there. On the other hand, the strawberries from last year look great. We should get a lot of them. Lots of flowers.

I've had a pork shoulder/butt in the oven for a couple hours now and it smells heavenly. First time making pulled pork. Hope it's as good as it smells, because it is 8 lbs!!! Not sure what I'll do with all that meat. Sandwiches tonight and street tacos tomorrow...that'll take care of 1 lb.

It freezes well for later meals. I usually get the 2 packs at the restaurant supply because it's cheaper. Smoke, pull, divide up, and freeze what we won't eat in 2 meals.

I was thinking I should have divided it into a couple roasts. I did that last time I bought one. After I had this one in the oven, I wondered why I didn't just do that today. I hadn't frozen it before. That was definitely a senior moment! But, yes, I'll be freezing a lot of this.

They cook better cut in half as well. Cooks faster and get more of the outside flavor in the pulled meat

Sorry was out all day with the neighbor her and I are good buds.
She had just gotten a bottom denture and needed what she thought was a liner in it.

Well, the pulled pork turned out delicious! And now I have it in containers for 5 more meals!! I do have to have dinner done and hubby out the door by 5:30 once a week, so it will be good to pull out for those days.

I cooked another one in the oven a couple days ago and have 6 chunks wrapped in foil and frozen. Quick and easy eating.

I spent a lot of time driving today returning shoes I bought on Amazon. Drove to Staples in Chehalis and they said they couldn't take it... had to go to a real UPS store. 40 miles burned up.

So I drove to the UPS store in Longview and finished the return. That was another 60 miles. Oh well, at least the chore is done.
