We have a broody. She has been sitting for about 5 days now. I knew where she was, but when I went to close in the chickens, she wasn't there. She wasn't on the roost either. Missing altogether!!! So, I came back inside and looked at my chart, thinking I had the wrong number of chickens in my head. No, we have 16, 3 being pure BOs and she was one of them. She is clearly missing. Looked everywhere!!! We have other coops out there that aren't being used. Not in any of those either. 
Then I opened one of the side doors to the coop, right where she should be nesting, and there she was!!! We put some fresh straw down yesterday and the other girls had buried her in straw!!! LOLOL I couldn't see her from the other door at all. Just straw.
So relieved. Made for a couple laughs and a good evening once I knew everyone was safe and sound.
Oh! And the chicks (10 weeks old) headed up to the roosting bars for the first time !!!
First batch that didn't have to be taught to do that!!!
