I find that most Winter molters I have had were those were were Summer hatched birds. They are over a year, but just so when Fall rolls around so maybe just not quite ready to drop their feathers. Most often I see my late hatch Cornish are the late molters.
this is at work? any work mates enchanted with the chicks?
and....did you take your sick hen to the U?
I tried for two days to contact someone at the U.
Because I have to work this weekend and the hen was getting worse I decided to cull her.
If any other become symptomatic I'll try the U again. With nine babies in the house I want to minimize exposure. Thankfully they are vaccinated.
My hatched baby's leg is stronger and it's walking around and perked up significantly with it's new bros and sis.
