Anyone breeding chickens and selling from San Fernando Valley area in Southern California? I'm looking for pullets. Looking for Brahma, Ameraucana, Campine or Buff Orpington

yes I see them advertised on Craigslist a lot but they don't have exotic breeds I'm interested in.

I sent my Campines (golds and silvers) to a woman in Northern California, who unfortunately recently passed, but I can find out where the stock is going from there... There aren't too many breeders of these guys around, but I know there is a woman on California Poultry People which is a FB group. Lots of locals who show and have good stock.

I have Red and Colored Dorkings which I've just set up in breeding pens, and should have eggs for the 'bator soon. I'm in the antelope valley, but drive down to SFV weekly, and sometimes daily, should you decide to give Dorkings a try :)

For more breed info check out Dorkings dot com

FYI- if you are not on a good bit of land, Campines might not be the best choice due to their ability to fly over to the neighbors, and chatty nature. But they are a wonderful breed and well worth having if you are set up for them.

Hmm. maybe when you hatch out some dorkings you can sell me a pair. i live in panorama city & can meet you whenever you are in sfv.

New to this all.. And live in San Fernando valley the far west valley.. Near valley circle in a residential area with lots of hills.. Would you mind sharing your knowledge of laws and ordinances in SFV. I read the 20' and 35' rule and don't think is going to be problem at all.

From the animal shelter, it posted a sign that said all roosters have to be cooped 35 feet away from all dwellings, that includes your house and all your neighbor's dwellings. Hens, no rule posted. Just as long as your neighbor's don't mind

Dorking eggs to ship to NV? If no shipping......cost for me to pick up? I'm in NV so I would have to drive (would prefer to ship much cheaper)
