So has anyone ever kissed their hens??? If so were you ok? Am I just over worried?
I kiss my chickens. I know I shouldn't but they're irresistable. I just hope salmonella doesn't live on feathers.
I've smooched mine too, near the back of the head. I kiss my ducklings all the time too. I can't resist the fuzzzzzzzz.....
I kiss mine too. I have read you can get salm. from them too. Who knows? I had it once and I lived. I am hoping I would live again if I got it.

I'm more of a chicken nuzzler. I have a red cochin hen that just nuzzles my cheek, and i nuzzle her right back.
No diseases, but I did get a peck in the eye, so be careful!

I especially like kissing my rooster on his big, huge, comb.
