My rooster is breeding some pullets and some hens that haven't produced any eggs on a while. Does this mean they are going to start laying or laying again?

I have two roosters that frequently breed with hens that haven't laid an egg is some time.
No, it doesn't. Hens will lay whenever they feel like it, roo/mated or not. All that the mating means is that they're old/large enough for the roo to mount them.
