Adding to existing flock of two: which breed should I get?

Hello!

I had to give away 4 out of my 6 chicks since they were roosters and did not want to alert the neiborhood (chickens are not legal here!). So I have two Chantecler (one white and one pattrige) and looking to introduce another chicken. They are 3 months old and I would like to have a breed which is docile (with future roommates!

), winter hardy (Montréal weather) and friendly with kids. Any suggestion? Favorites? My daughter would like to have the Plymouth Rock as we're coming back from a vacation on the farm and loved them...

I love Buff Orps. They are very docile and friendly. One of my orps, always runs to me and sits on my feet waiting to be picked up. I live in Michigan and my girls do fine in the winter.
