Organic Feed

I don't know if it is only available in Texas but I buy Texas Natural Organics from Russell Feeds for $25/50 pound bag. It is antibiotic free, soy free & non GMO

Local for me is Central KS. Although I have been a member for a while I haven't been on Here a lot. A lot of things have changed so I am going to "Reintroduce" myself on the new members and update my profile. Thank you!

Start on the phone and call around to local feed mills and ask if they sell organic, what kind or if they would be willing to stock some for you. Also what is the price.
Continue to widen the circle until you find several you are willing to drive to. Around here there are about 6 places that carry it but the price varies from $29 -$49 for 50lbs. so it's best to shop around.
As has been said, shipping can be very pricey. I once ordered a 50# bag of DE online and the shipping nearly negated most of the savings over buying 5# locally.

Luckily for me, they ARE local... and I only have to go a few miles to my feed store to buy it and can visit the facility in not too much longer than that.

They have retail locations in OK, so it might be worth asking if your feed store in Kansas can carry it too.

And, I grew up in central Kansas too!

You could also look into mixing your own feed... not as easy to be sure but if you want to go organic it might be an option.

I have a store in West Milford, NJ. We sell a lot of poultry feed and supplies. We do stock an organic layer feed made by Blue Seal Feeds.
