Gotta run Brandon to school. I'll be back shortly.

Tape newspaper together & lay large pattern on it & cut out. Now you can cut small apron out & still have 2 apron patterns.
Ugh. Found a message on my phone from the cross country coach. There is a meet on Wed in Point Arena, up along the coast, and he needs parent drivers. Evidently the plan to share a bus with another small school fell through due to liability issues. Dunderheads sure aren't putting their money where their mouth is, constantly complaining about conservation and global warming, but not able to cut through a minor bit of red tape to prevent individual cars making the trip. I just looked it up. Over 2 hours one way!
Hi Linda, hi granny, hi jane!!

Thought your little one would enjoy pictures from the big fire that's up north of us. There are some good bomber shots, and photo #9, of the big DC10, was on the front page of the paper this morning. Smaller planes from Sonoma county are the ones I've seen actually flying/working (picture #8). It also gives a good idea of what it is like around here where I live in the summertime.

It's the school districts saying no. The superintendent's daughter is on the team and he is heavily involved with the team (even runs practice with them). If he can't fix it, the poor coach sure can't. It's the kids that always lose out. Just bugs me that, as a society, we always paint ourselves into a corner with rules and regulations, and no one is allowed to use their own judgement or plain old common sense. Freedom is supposed to come first; government is limited by the constitution. Now it seems we have to beg permission for the simplest things. In California, you are not even supposed to change out the windows in your house without a permit. County government issuing you a permit means they decide whether or not to give you permission... and you have to pay for it too. Completely backwards, if you ask me. Which you didn't... so I am putting my soapbox away.
