3 years later....fun to revisit the start of my coop project. Not sure I would change anything I have going on with my coop and layout. Thought I would bump this up in case it helps anyone starting their coop projects.

Embarrassing to say, but I am currently without chickens. They all stopped laying last fall and I didn't want to deal with them through the winter. I'll be getting new chicks soon for a refresh. At the peak, I had about 14 chickens.Nice set up! How many chickens do you have in there now?
Thanks! No birds right now. I'm about to bring in a new flock soon. Tweaks? Maybe a few minor things like maybe more narrow roost/poop deck. I think I would also flip the 2X4 because I think the chickens prefer roosting on the 2" section rather than the 4". I also noticed they tend to roost closest to the door so I may consider removing the entire right side roost and only leave the one above the nests which will also give me more working room inside the coop. I love the feeders and wouldn't change a thing outside of maybe hanging them instead of sitting them on top of those boxes. Might help with rodents. However, practically no food waste with these feeders. They are the bomb.Glad you bumped it, I enjoyed reading it.
Still have same birds, any tweaks to coop or run??
