The Genetics of Fibromelanosis in the Sikie and Ayam Cemani

The only difference is that this one is feather legged. I used a single comb white silkie cockeral crossed with a black bantam Cochin hen. This one is still a chick at about 4- 5 weeks old

There's gonna be a lot of difference as that chick ages. Yes, it is dark-skinned, but the type and form are going to be totally different than that of a true ayam cemani. So while you have created a fibromelanistic crossbreed, you haven't created a bird that's going to look like a real ayam cemani when fully grown. The feathered legs and fifth toes aren't going to end up being the only visual difference.

Actually, I can already see a lot of difference between that chick and my AC chicks of the same age, not counting the feathered legs and fifth toes.

It is definitely pretty, but it doesn't look like a real AC.

Update: I have done that are now 12 weeks old, one is a cockeral too. Do far they're still completely black. Even the cockeral has absolutely no red beginning show in his comb or waddle.

I'm glad that they're staying black for you :) The point I was making in my last post though is that just being all black doesn't make a chicken an ayam cemani - otherwise svart honas wouldn't be a separate breed. So while you have created a crossbreed that has good fibro expression, they're not really 'AC look-a-likes', since they don't actually look like ACs in any way aside from being black.

I realize this is an old thread, but wanted to ask the simple(ish) question.... I have a Fibromelanistic EE Roo, I am planning on breeding with my white skinned EE's. Will any of the babies inherit the Black Skin/Comb/Face? Thank you in advance!
