Hey, me three week old barred rock chick has no feathers on its back and many bloody scabs and cuts. It seems to be getting worse everyday and I don't know how she's getting them. I only have one other chick and a full grown bantam and I NEVER see them being aggressive towards one another. What do I do? I will post pictures of the wounds later.

The other chicks are likely plucking her. Picking isn't always an aggressive behavior, sometimes birds will just stand there while the other nibble at them.

Are they in a brooder or in the coop already, and how much space do they have? What are you feeding?

If you have BluKote, spray some on her back to cover up the wounds. I'd also check everyone over for external parasites. They can cause feather loss as well, and sometimes the effected birds will preen or scratch themselves bloody
Good luck :)

I've gotten some chicks and I've noticed that the more aggressive ones usually peck the smaller or weaker especially if it' has a problem of some sort , if urs aren't that aggressive then I wouldn't know y try sterilizing the wounds and put and anti pecking vet wrap might help or put the chick in a separate area hope this helped!

There are no feathers and no distinguishable cuts that I can see Not to mention that I only have two chicks and this is the dominant one.

Idk quite Wierd truthfully I haven't seen anything like it , could it be a skin infection or somthing? Idk ....... Huh we'll just keep it clean I geuss and keep a close eye on it to see wat the cause is

At least it doesn't seem to be bothering her. She is a hyper active little chicken, hopefully she stays that way
