Warning! Chickens died in pvc feeder!

How old were your chicks? Was your feeder low on food? I have 4 week olds using a Y PVC feeder and now I'm getting nervous...
 
I am very sorry for your loss.
I do want to thank you for taking the time to share. I just bought a coop with one of those feeders in it, but now I am going to take it out until my chicks are full grown.
 
Wow, that's so sad. Thank you for posting though. I haven't used mine yet as I'm still bringing my 6 week olds into the garage at night. I guess I won't be using it until they are grown either.
