two chicks dead already help please

If they were mine I would start them on Corid. Can you post a picture of poop from a sick one?

X 2. At a month of age coccidiosis is the first thing I would think of to cause lethargy and death. Enteritis is something that might affect birds when they are older, and can happen after a bird has had cocci. Only 2 out of 9 strains of cocci will cause blood in stools. Treating with Corid for 5 days is not hard on them, especially if it would save a life. Cocci will be affecting the intestines 3 days before symptoms may show up.

X2 what Kathy and Eggcessive said about coccidiosis.

The amount of amprolium in medicated feed is so little that chicks can and often do still get coccidiosis. You will absolutely not OD them by them treating them with Corid while on medicated feed. You may very well save the rest of them however if you get treatment started asap.

If you have any that are feeling crummy and not wanting to eat/drink on their own then you need to get an eye dropper and give those birds the medicated water directly. Do it as often as you can the first day or so until they perk up and start drinking well on their own. I do it every couple hours. Or, get the liquid Corid and give the sickest ones a drop of it straight, undiluted, to get them started.

You would want to treat all the chicks with Corid even if showing no symptoms. Probiotics are fine, just don't put them in the Corid water (or anything else.). After the Corid in 5 days, give several days of vitamins and probiotics.
